Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business, with a focus on commercial accounts
- Engage in all sales and marketing tactics to move prospects through AMS system
- Monitoring new and renewal revenue, client retention percentage, and overall results
- Understanding a prospect's business model and using a risk management approach to secure the company's insurance portfolio
- Providing outstanding service to an existing book of business and looking for opportunities to increase revenue by cross-selling additional products that will enhance the client's business insurance protection plan
- Implementing various networking strategies to maintain relationships and grow the customer base
- Staying current on insurance coverage provisions, changes within the insurance industry, new regulations, and pertinent legislation to ensure customers understand their coverage terms and insurance services
Requirements
- Insurance agency/carrier experience is a plus
- Possessing an entrepreneurial mindset (creative and growth focus)
- Providing an exceptional client service experience
- Must have proven experience with a range of insurance solutions to bring value to clients
- Displaying a proactive, positive, enterprising, constructive, team-centered mindset
- A Property & Casualty license is required in applicable state
- A Property & Casualty license is required in applicable state(s) within 90 days of employment.
- Proficiency in the use of agency software, Microsoft Word, Excel, & Other Programs
Salary : $50,000 - $200,000
