Our District currently has multiple agency ownership opportunities available within the greater San Jose / Sunnyvale area.
Current opportunities include:
- Established agency generating approximately $170,000 in annual commission income, with an existing client base that includes many Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking customers and strong opportunities for continued growth.
- Established agency generating approximately $150,000 in annual commission income, with an established client base serving a large Vietnamese-speaking community and meaningful potential for continued growth.
Additional agency opportunities may also be available depending on a candidate’s experience, background, and community connections.
These opportunities allow qualified candidates to step into established agencies with immediate income potential and strong opportunities for continued growth. From time to time, agency ownership opportunities become available as books of business transition to new leadership.
Many agency opportunities can be relocated within the greater San Jose / Sunnyvale area, giving new agency owners flexibility in how they choose to structure and grow their business. Additional details about specific agency opportunities will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.

Current agency opportunities include books generating six-figure commission income, not including additional performance bonuses offered through Farmers Insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through thoughtful coverage reviews and personalized insurance and financial solutions.
- Educate clients on policy options and protection strategies, ensuring a clear understanding of their coverage and long-term planning considerations.
- Provide consistent, high-quality service by managing policy updates, servicing needs, and ongoing client communication with responsiveness and professionalism.
- Actively prospect, network, and cultivate referral relationships to grow your client base and strengthen your presence within the community.
- Commit to ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to deepen product knowledge and industry expertise.
- Utilize the District’s training, sales process, and marketing systems to encourage proactive outreach, meaningful conversations, and lasting client relationships.
- Lead, coach, and develop your agency team with a focus on education, performance accountability, exceptional client service, and long-term retention.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:
- Have active CA Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses or be willing to obtain required licenses with assistance from our District Office.
- Minimum requirement of $100,000 in assets to show financial responsibility. (No costs or fees paid to Farmers)
- Satisfactory results of background check (credit/criminal).
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Have the willingness to learn and be coachable.
- Desire to be an active member and leader of the community.
- Strong sales, customer service, and management skills preferred, but not required.
