This is not your typical insurance sales job.

Farmers Insurance District 95 is building an elite Protégé Development Program based out of our new Austin/Buda district office designed specifically for ambitious, entrepreneurial-minded sales professionals who want a real path toward business ownership, leadership, and long-term financial growth.


Instead of being placed inside a single agency, our Protégés work directly within the District Office environment alongside multiple top-performing Farmers agency owners, recruiters, mentors, and leadership teams across Central Texas. This creates a much faster learning environment, broader exposure to the industry, and significantly more growth opportunity than a traditional agency role.

If you can prove yourself in sales, leadership, and consistency, this program is designed to prepare you for future agency ownership opportunities with Farmers Insurance.


You’ll receive hands-on mentorship, structured sales coaching, licensing support, lead generation systems, and real-world business training while building a career with one of the most recognized insurance brands in the country.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service personal, commercial, life, and business insurance products

• Generate new business through leads, referrals, networking, and outbound outreach

• Build strong client relationships through consultative sales conversations

• Participate in daily coaching, training, and sales development sessions

• Learn agency operations, client retention, and business management fundamentals

• Meet and exceed production and activity goals

• Maintain accurate client documentation and pipeline management

• Develop the skills necessary to eventually operate and grow a Farmers agency


What We’re Looking For

• Competitive and highly motivated individuals

• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with clients

• Coachable mindset with a desire to grow professionally and financially

• Sales experience is a plus, but not required

• Entrepreneurial mindset preferred

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment


Licensing

• Property & Casualty License preferred but not required

• Life & Health License preferred but not required

• District Office provides licensing guidance and training support for qualified candidates
