Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative

Farmers Insurance – Tucson – District 88-11 is seeking experienced, licensed insurance customer service professionals for opportunities with local Farmers Insurance agencies throughout the Tucson area.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and keeping an insurance agency organized. You will assist current policyholders with billing questions, policy changes, documentation, renewals, and other service needs while helping the agency retain strong customer relationships.
This is primarily a customer-service and account-management position. However, team members should be comfortable identifying coverage gaps, discussing additional insurance needs, and referring or completing sales opportunities when appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and service requests
- Assist customers with billing and payment questions
- Process policy changes accurately and promptly
- Add or remove vehicles, drivers, and coverages
- Update addresses, mortgage companies, lienholders, and contact information
- Help customers complete applications, signatures, and required documents
- Provide proof of insurance, policy documents, and identification cards
- Assist with cancellations, reinstatements, and nonrenewal concerns
- Review upcoming renewals and help customers understand policy changes
- Conduct policy reviews and identify potential coverage gaps
- Help retain customers who are considering cancellation
- Follow up on outstanding documents and unfinished service requests
- Document every customer interaction accurately in the agency’s systems
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve policy and underwriting issues
- Cross-sell or refer additional insurance products when appropriate
- Follow all agency, carrier, licensing, privacy, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Personal Lines License
- Previous insurance customer-service or account-management experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Patient, professional, and comfortable handling difficult conversations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Able to prioritize multiple customer requests and meet deadlines
- Comfortable using insurance software, email, phone systems, and CRM platforms
- Dependable attendance and strong follow-through
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willing to participate in ongoing training and coaching
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience servicing auto, home, renters, umbrella, or life insurance policies
- Familiarity with carrier billing, underwriting, and policy-management systems
- Experience with customer retention and renewal reviews
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
