## Insurance Sales Agent Trainee Program


As an Insurance Sales Agent Trainee, you'll participate in a structured, fully paid development program designed to prepare you for long-term success in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

* Guide clients through available insurance solutions, including personal, commercial, life, and specialty coverage options, helping them make informed decisions based on their needs.

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities.

* Build long-term client relationships by conducting coverage reviews and providing ongoing risk management recommendations.

* Create and deliver customized insurance quotes and policy recommendations tailored to individual and business clients.

* Serve as a trusted resource by assisting clients with policy updates, coverage questions, billing concerns, and claims-related support.

* Maintain a strong understanding of industry developments, carrier offerings, compliance requirements, and market trends.

* Work closely with agency leadership and team members to support growth initiatives, customer retention efforts, and production goals.

* Participate in ongoing professional development, sales training, and licensing education to continuously improve performance and expertise.


Requirements

* Insurance industry experience is not required. We provide a structured training program designed to help motivated individuals build the skills needed for success.

* Previous sales, customer service, business development, or relationship-management experience is beneficial, but not mandatory. We are primarily looking for candidates who are goal-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to grow professionally.

* Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses are a plus. Candidates without licenses must be willing and able to obtain a Property & Casualty license before their start date. Farmers District 15 covers approved licensing coursework and study materials.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and effectively resolve challenges.

* Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, stay organized, and perform both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and other technology platforms to support daily business activities.

* Dedicated to ongoing personal and professional growth through coaching, training, and continued education.
