Seeking candidates with:
- The drive and ability to own and operate their own business with a focus on supporting agency growth
- 5 years of Property & Casualty or Financial Services sales experience (preferred)
- Proven success driving business results in current and/or previous roles
- 5 years of successful leadership experience including recruiting and developing sales professionals or business owners
- Ability to develop and execute effective business strategies
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and coach successful business owners
- A history developing a local presence in their community
- A proven track record for obtaining business results through the development of effective relationships across business functions
- Ability to assess market conditions, trends, and indicators
- Knowledge of agent contracts and associated compliance experience
Requirements:
- Satisfactory results of a background check
- Obtain Property, Casualty, Life and Health licenses
- Obtain Series 6, 63 (where applicable) and 26 licenses
- Access to capital for start-up – there are no startup fees payable to Farmers
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Successful completion of the University of Farmers® district manager training program
- Secure an acceptable office location
