Farmers Fresh Bar & Grill is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager who is more than just a great cook—we're looking for a leader with vision. What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop the back-of-house team through positive leadership and accountability.
- Create a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all daily kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Develop new menu ideas, seasonal features, and creative specials.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion consistency.
- Manage inventory, ordering, food costs, and waste reduction.
- Build schedules that support business needs while maximizing labor efficiency.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train kitchen staff.
- Maintain all health, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Work closely with ownership and management to help grow the restaurant through new ideas and operational improvements.
- Step into the kitchen and lead by example during busy service periods.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable.
- A passion for creating great food and memorable guest experiences.
- Someone who brings ideas—not excuses—and enjoys finding ways to improve operations.
- Experience with inventory management, food costing, ordering, and labor management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (ServSafe certification is a plus).
