Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and setting up workstations to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Support banquet and catering events by preparing serving stations, replenishing supplies, and ensuring timely setup and breakdown.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, sinks, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.
- Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly during service hours to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all food service areas meet safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with basic food handling practices and cleaning procedures is advantageous.
- Experience working in banquet or large-scale event settings can be beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or moving equipment comfortably.
