Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Feed Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting feed products to various locations while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. This role requires a professional with strong driving skills, familiarity with different truck types, and the ability to load and unload freight efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and freight trucks.
- Load and unload feed products using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery of feed supplies to farms, stores, or other clients.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during driving operations.
- Assist in securing loads properly for transport to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated (manual transmission experience preferred).
- Proven experience in truck driving, route driving, or delivery driving roles.
- Experience operating various trucks such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or tractor-trailers.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and freight handling.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment like forklifts if required.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with freight handling.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
