Farmers Cooperative is looking for a Grain Elevator Superintendent at our Lincoln Grain Terminal. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, problem-solving, and is looking to take their grain experience to the next level!
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Location Manager in ensuring daily operations of the facility are taken care of while they handle management duties
- Assist with the handling, storage, and quality monitoring of grain which includes loading trains and unloading trucks
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records while assisting with employee training
- Operate equipment like forklifts, augers, and loaders while performing housekeeping, maintenance, and general facility upkeep
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights
- Willingness to work extra hours during peak demand times
- Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
Strongly Preferred:
- Grain operations experience
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic technology and math skills
