What are the responsibilities and job description for the Feed Coordination Manager position at Farmers Cooperative Society?
Overall Job Function:
The Feed Coordination Manager is responsible for the oversight, analytics, and processes of the daily milling and transportation of feed production, including but not limited to; manufacturing, delivery, compliance, goals and objectives to improve overall feed operations and delivery efficiency.
Essential Job Functions:
Be able to interpret analytical data to make changes in operations and delivery of feed products to producers.
Oversee all internal and external regulatory compliance requirements for OSHA, DOT and HACCP.
Ensure quality and customer service expectations are met or exceeded.
Continually improving processes to ensure quality and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Develop and implement processes to improve operation and transportation efficiency as needed.
Recommend capital improvements while meeting operational budget guidelines.
Maintain and enforce location safety program to promote safe behaviors in the workplace.
Oversee and ensure that equipment, rolling stock, and housekeeping programs are being maintained properly.
Administrative functions as needed or assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Understand DOT placarding and DOT hazardous rules.
Ability to understand the mobile equipment and efficiencies needed to operate the mobile equipment.
Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.

Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years’ experience in a production and delivery setting.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily based in a fast-paced office setting, but the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles. When required, PPE will be provided and must be utilized according to safety standards. Typical working hours are based on customer and organizational demand; hours may be long, irregular and include weekends and holidays during peak season.
