Farmers Cooperative Services is seeking a Branch Manager to lead one of our Northeast Missouri locations.

We are a locally owned agricultural cooperative serving farmers, livestock producers, rural homeowners, and our local communities. Our business includes fertilizer and crop inputs, feed and animal nutrition, farm and ranch supplies, fuel and propane, grain services, and other products and services.

We are looking for a practical, dependable leader who understands agriculture, enjoys working with customers, and is willing to be involved in the day-to-day operation of the branch.

What You’ll Do

The Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall operation, customer service, sales, and personnel of the location.

Responsibilities include:

· Lead and work alongside branch employees in daily operations

· Build and maintain strong relationships with local farmers and customers

· Grow sales by identifying customer needs and following up on opportunities

· Coordinate fertilizer, chemical, feed, grain, fuel, and other seasonal business

· Oversee inventory, purchasing, receiving, and product movement

· Maintain an organized, safe, and customer-focused facility

· Schedule employees and coordinate work during busy seasons

· Help ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained

· Work closely with other Farmers Cooperative Services locations and management

· Assist customers with product selection and practical solutions for their operations

· Monitor branch performance and help identify opportunities to improve sales, service, and profitability

· Be willing to step in wherever needed to get the job done

Who We’re Looking For

The right person does not necessarily need to come from a large corporate agribusiness. We are interested in someone who knows agriculture, knows how to work with people, and can be responsible for a local operation.

A strong candidate will have:

· Agricultural, agribusiness, farm, feed, fertilizer, grain, or related experience

· Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

· Leadership or supervisory experience

· Good organizational and communication skills

· A willingness to make decisions and accept responsibility

· Basic computer and business skills

· The ability to work independently while also being part of the larger cooperative team

· A valid driver’s license

Experience with fertilizer, crop protection, feed, grain, equipment, or agricultural retail is preferred but not required for an otherwise strong candidate.

We are looking for a Branch Manager who values those relationships and wants to become part of the agricultural community we serve.

This is a hands-on management position. The successful candidate should be equally comfortable talking with a producer about his operation, leading employees, managing inventory, answering the phone, helping a customer at the counter, or pitching in during a busy season.

Compensation & Benefits

Farmers Cooperative Services offers a range of $65k-$85k based on experience and qualifications, along with a benefits package.
