Job Title: Floor Sales - Tools and Hardware
Role: The Tools & Hardware Sales Associate will assist customers seeking advice and assistance on a wide range of tools and hardware products, including hand tools, power tools and accessories and more. Your goal is to help customers find the right products to meet their needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role reports to the Department Lead in Tools & Hardware.
Responsibilities:
· Customer Assistance: Proactively Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and offer professional advice.
· Sales: Promote and sell a variety of tools and hardware products.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
· Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle returns and exchanges.
· Team Collaboration: Work with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the customer shopping experience.
· Department Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and cleanings of displays to ensure they are well-maintained and spotless and secure high-value or High theft items with appropriate security tags to prevent theft.
· Inventory Management: Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean and orderly department.
· Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the tools and hardware products available in the store, including features, benefits, and usage.
· Quality Control: Ensure all products on display meet quality standards and remove any damaged or expired items.
