Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications.
- Utilize calibration tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure measurement accuracy and consistency across production batches.
- Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other applicable standards to identify areas for improvement.
- Collect, analyze, and document data related to product quality, process deviations, and inspection results to support root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions aligned with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with quality systems such as QA/QC programs, ISO 9001 standards, and FDA regulations through regular reviews and updates.
- Support the development and refinement of quality management procedures to enhance overall product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of calibration techniques and the use of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and CMMs.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, CGMP, HACCP, and related quality systems.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or issues promptly.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions effectively.
- Proficiency in using analysis tools and software related to quality management processes.
