Position Summary
The Full-Time Teller is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately and efficiently processing a variety of financial transactions. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, helping to build relationships, identify needs, and promote bank products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide prompt, courteous service
- Accurately process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Identify and prevent fraudulent transactions by following bank policies and procedures
- Assist customers with account inquiries and basic banking services
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with opening and closing the branch as needed
- Support other team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service or cash handling experience preferred
- Banking experience is a plus
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
