Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service
- Accepts checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into system
- Cashes checks and processes withdrawals
- Opens new accounts, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes and gift cards for both consumers and businesses
- Processes loan payments
- Balance a cash drawer at a rate of 95% or higher
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and compliance with all bank policies and regulations
- Remain educated on the complete bank line of products and services
- Identifies fraudulent activity
- Assists with night depository and vault duties
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service, retail, or banking experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work an average of 40 hours per week
- Available to work any shifts Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday mornings
- Always maintain professional appearance and behavior
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with all types of customers
- Must be a team player and willing to jump in to assist with any special projects, etc.
