Overview
Purdy's Farmer & the Fish Restaurant seeks a driver to pick up fish in the Bronx and deliver up to our restaurants every Tuesday and Friday. We have our own refrigerated vans. This is an early morning postion. Must be in North Salem at 4:30A.M. to pick up van and head down to pick up location. Pick up should take 1 hour or so, and then head back up to North Salem to drop off. Great part time position!
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Manage heavy lifting and merchandise handling during loading and unloading processes.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques, traffic regulations, and safety procedures.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
