Position Overview Farmer’s Pool & Spa is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pool Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform pool cleanings while also handling a variety of service and repair tasks. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining pools to a high standard and ensuring customers receive dependable, professional service.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee routine residential and commercial pool cleanings
- Test and balance pool water chemistry according to company standards
- Inspect pools and equipment during service visits and identify potential issues
- Perform pump, filter, and basic pool equipment repairs
- Assist with or complete liner replacements as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair small pool equipment issues (valves, fittings, plumbing leaks, etc.)
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and service needs clearly with customers and office staff
- Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and supply usage
- Ensure service vehicles, tools, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety procedures and promote a safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with construction and retail teams when needed
Required Qualifications
- Experience in pool service, maintenance, or related mechanical/construction work
- Knowledge of pool cleaning procedures and basic water chemistry
- Hands-on experience with pool pumps, filters, and circulation systems
- Ability to perform small equipment repairs and minor plumbing tasks
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes efficiently
- Physically capable of lifting equipment and working outdoors in varying conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with vinyl liner pools and liner replacements
- Familiarity with common pool equipment brands and systems
- Pool Operator Certification (CPO) or willingness to obtain
- Experience servicing both residential and commercial pools
