What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Equipment Analyst position at Farmer Holding Company?
This position will support the equipment and operational teams to collect and analyze data for numerous assets across several different companies. Will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing reports that support operational performance, while providing insights that drive efficiency and informed decision-making. The ultimate responsibility is to provide superior customer service to operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze business and equipment performance and provide monthly analysis to Operations.
- Assist with establishing policy, procedures, and controls for the operational business functions.
- Compile and analyze monthly operational reports including equipment performance & utilization reports.
- Review and analyze equipment costs and utilization to establish equipment rates.
- Prepare various CapEx analysis (i.e. ROIs, Rebuilds, R&M, etc.)
- Assist the equipment team with various projects to analyze equipment data.
- Partner with the Operations Controllers and Equipment Financial Business Manager to manage the day-to-day.
- Analyze and appraise equipment as needed to buy/sell based on business needs.
- Assist with the compilation of equipment KPIs (financial and operational).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office; Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide discussions, lead meetings, and drive outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and help the company make informed decisions.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
