Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Environmental Technician role located in the Orlando, FL Area. The Environmental Technician will perform environmental assessments, monitor fieldwork including IAQ, PRV, ACM, and Lead. The responsibilities also include conducting inspections, maintaining communication with clients and team members, and preparing reports to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
The Preferred qualifications include the following: -
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Asbestos Inspector / AMT / Project Manager / Mold Assessor
- Strong, verifiable references
- Reliable transportation available to be used for work purposes (mileage expense is reimbursed)
- Great work attendance
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize obligations accordingly, and manage time wisely
- Good computer skills, primarily MS Office programs & Excel-based databases
- Must be able to work overtime when called upon
Some examples of the desired attributes are:
- Background in construction, building maintenance, and/or understanding of building systems and materials
- Background in the environmental consulting industry
- Willingness to be cross-trained and diversify skill-set
- Experience managing complex projects
- Knowledge of Texas asbestos & mold regulations
Travel will be required, primarily within Florida and adjoining states as projects demand. Company provided equipment, paid travel expenses, and benefits including insurance and retirement plan.
