JOB DESCRIPTION
Treasury Associate
Farmer Holding Company is seeking a full-time Treasury Associate to join our Treasury team. This role will be responsible for managing and reconciling various bank accounts, handling positive pay files, recording transactions, and other financial activities within the accounting system.
JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accounted for, and discrepancies are resolved
- Reconcile virtual card transactions
- Upload positive pay files for various banks
- Review and resolve ACH and positive pay exceptions in a timely manner
- Accurately record payroll totals within the accounting system, ensuring all entries are correct and up to date
- Record due to/ due from transactions in accounting system
- Monitor Monday bank balances and Friday depository bank balances
- Process credit applications with all necessary documentation
- Review outstanding activity and reports
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERTISE
- Education emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or 3 years of related work experience
- Proven experience in accounting or related field
- Understanding of bank relationships and cash management services
- Ability to use accounting system
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
