What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Associate position at Farmbox Florida?
Job Purpose
As a Produce Associate, you'll work collaboratively with a small fun and vibrant warehouse team to prepare and/or package top quality produce! You'll have a range of other duties that help get great local food to our customers, detailed below.
This shift is every week, Tuesday-Friday. 25-30 hours per week. Shift begins at 7am.
This position pays $500 week. We are proud to offer a free weekly produce box to all members of our team!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Commit to being a strong and reliable member of a team that is dedicated to the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Pack every box efficiently, correctly and with a high standard of quality
- Work to support the overall goals of the team
- Support an injury-free workplace
- Use good judgment in evaluating produce quality and packaging
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Maintain the highest levels of personal hygiene and workplace sanitation
- Help organize, pack, clean, and prepare for the following day
- Load and unload pack lines
- Unload and properly store inbound delivery items
- Understand and carry out all assigned duties and tasks for any and every station
- Carry out all duties, expressed or otherwise, as assigned by management
Requirements:
- 7:00 am start time
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
