Description

FarmaKeio Albuquerque Compounding Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and professional Retail and Customer Service Specialist to be the welcoming face of our advanced 503A compounding pharmacy!

This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist all customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring their needs are met quickly and effectively
• Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately managing cash, credit, and insurance payments
• Keep the retail area clean, organized, and appealing, making sure product displays are well-stocked and follow brand standards
• Work with pharmacy leaders to execute seasonal promotions, new product launches, and sales events, while confirming all displays meet regulatory requirements
• Help manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
• Handle incoming phone calls, directing inquiries and providing administrative support to the pharmacy team
• Inform customers about over-the-counter products and services, using your strong product expertise

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2 years of experience in a customer-facing retail role, such as a cashier, sales associate, or customer service representative, preferably in drug stores, pharmacies, or gas stations
• Proven strong customer service skills with a track record of positive customer interactions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions
• Basic computer skills; experience with retail software systems is a plus
