About us:
The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art, interactive agriculture education facility. Our mission is to share the wonders of Wisconsin farming with every guest who walks through our doors. On site, the Wisconsin Café extends our mission through meals prepared with locally-sourced foods. The Wisconsin Café is open for breakfast and lunch, and focuses on cultivating a family-friendly atmosphere, known for cooking made-to-order, seasonal dishes.
Job Summary:
· Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces
· Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
· Prepare and serve coffee drinks to order
· Fulfill ice cream orders from behind the ice cream counter
· Build positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
· Support banquet staffing with responsibilities including, but not limited to, serving food, re-stocking buffet lines, clearing tables, and washing dishes
· Additional supervisory responsibilities available based on experience
Requirements:
· Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
· A cheerful and friendly attitude
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
· Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations
· Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Generally 8am -3pm Thursday – Saturday, may require some nights

Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
