Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented, bilingual (English & Spanish) and proactive Agency Inspector/Vetter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling agency inspections for Produce and TEFAP programs at Farm Share and ensuring compliance with USDA rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analysis skills, experience with quality assurance systems, and a passion for maintaining high standards. Your work will help ensure that partnering agencies comply with program rules and regulations.
Primary Job Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling agency inspections for Produce and Tefap Programs at Farm Share.
- Working with the Facility Manager to facilitate communications with other areas/sites regarding Produce & Tefap Programs.
- Help to maintain a database of all Farm Share Produce & Tefap agencies, including, historical distribution statistics.
- Obtaining and filing all agency supporting documentation.
- Maintaining monthly reports to the Facility managerand USDA Programs Director re: monthly progress.
- Scheduling initial and follow up agency site visits for the Produce and Tefap distribution programs at Farm Share.
- Reporting agency compliance issues to USDA Programs Director and Facility manager in a timely fashion.
- Help answer multiline phone system
- Educating all agencies regarding required support documentation
- Take detailed messages and ensure appropriate staff member receives messages in a timely manner.
- Greet visitors and vendors and direct to appropriate staff member or area.
- Provide visitor and vendors with appropriate safety information and safety apparel.
- Assist with scannig and filing.
- Perform variety of clerical duties to assist others as needed.
- maintain a clean and safe work area.
Skill/Qualifications Requirements:
- Bilingual ( English and Spanish)
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- High School Diploma
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Exceptional phone etiquette and skills
- Experience managing a mult-line phone system
- Professional English & Spanish Grammar and language skills
- Advanced computer skills ( Excel, Microsoft, Google, AI, Internet
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 per week
