GUN COUNTER COORDINATOR
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY
To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company & ATF regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Minimum Age requirement is 21 years old.
- Illinois residents-must carry a valid Firearm Owners Identification [F.O.I.D.] card and Missouri/Iowa residents-must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Follow all Firearm Sale Procedures & ATF regulations, which includes the 4473 Form.
- Assist customers and inform them of product knowledge and special-order requests.
- Operate handheld Telxon.
- Follow Company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
- Authorize & approve the final transfer of weapons directly to customers.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention & safety procedures.
- Attend store and job-related meetings.
- Required on-line job training available on our Outfitters website.
- Communicate effectively with Customers, Management, and all store employees.
- Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Operate cash registers and assist with customer carry outs.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to lift up to and including 50 lbs.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete special projects directed by management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Age requirement is 21 years old.

- Must possess great communication and customer service skills.
