Farm Programs Manager

Farm Foundation
Libertyville, IL Full Time
POSTED ON 12/17/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 4/13/2026

While our organization is 92 years old, we are at a juncture that feels like a new start-up. We’ve undergone a rebranding of our institutional identity to become the “go-to” accelerator of practical solutions for agriculture. This year, we are completing the implementation of our five-year strategic vision, which includes new programming at our Fam Foundation Campus in the Chicago-metro area, designed to deliver best-in-class digital and in-person experiences that support our mission. We are now entering the next phase, launching our next 3-year strategic plan, where our Next Generation programs will play a key role.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Farm Foundation is seeking a Farm Program Manager to support and execute our portfolio of projects and programs, with a specific focus on delivering all programs and initiatives related to farming. The Farm Program Manager will provide high-quality programming to various stakeholders within the food and agriculture value chain.

Working with the Vice President of Programs and Strategic Impact, the Farm Program Manager will provide programmatic and administrative support and assist with logistics and coordination for Farm Foundation events, in collaboration with the rest of the team.

This role will oversee the launch of our FarmPath Program, a national initiative designed to support and cultivate young agricultural entrepreneurs across the United States. They will be responsible for program and curriculum development, participant recruitment, content delivery, partner engagement, and evaluation for the program’s inaugural cohort of up to 300 beginning farmers.

The Farm Program Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the program’s success—building infrastructure for future years, coordinating with mentors and subject matter experts, and developing a robust online Young Farmer Toolkit to reach a broad audience. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a flagship national program designed to lower barriers to entry for the next generation of farmers.

This role will also manage other key farm-related programs like our Ag Bootcamps, Ag Labs, and our Young Farmer Accelerator.
