Bilingual Triage Specialist

Are you bilingual in English and Spanish and looking for an opportunity to grow your career in insurance? Join our Claims team as a Bilingual Triage Specialist and become an important first point of contact for customers reporting commercial claims.
You’ll help gather information, document new claims, connect customers with the right claims professional, and keep the process moving quickly and accurately.
This is also a great career-launch opportunity. The role provides hands-on exposure to commercial claims and can position you for future Claims Trainee and Claims Adjuster opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Receive and accurately document new commercial claims.
- Communicate with insureds, claimants, brokers, and other partners.
- Gather information and help determine appropriate claim assignment.
- Update claims in the database and maintain accurate records.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team member.
- Order reports and gather information needed to support investigations.
- Prepare correspondence and process claim-related documentation.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Partner with Claims Adjusters and teammates to deliver excellent service.
- Help identify opportunities to improve processes and use technology more effectively.
Technology & AI
We’re investing in technology to modernize our Claims operation, including plans to implement a Large Language Model (LLM) to improve efficiency and data capture.
If you’re interested in AI or have experience creating effective prompts for LLMs, you’ll have an opportunity to be part of this exciting initiative. AI experience is preferred but not required.
What You'll Bring
Required:
- At least one year of insurance experience with general knowledge of commercial insurance.
- Fluent English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High school diploma/equivalent plus relevant experience, or vocational/technical education plus relevant experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Guidewire and/or ClaimsCenter experience.
- Claims or customer service experience.
- Experience working with or creating prompts for AI/LLM technology.

Compensation
Salary varies by location and experience:
- Richmond: $26.76–$30.80/hour
- Albany & Chicago: $29.29–$33.88/hour
- Los Angeles & New York City: $32.04–$37.11/hour
This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
This is a 100% in-office position.
