Job Summary

**Incumbent must work three days each week in either the Omaha, NE or Fargo, ND office**

 

We are seeking a ServiceNow Platform Developer who will serve as a member of a highly collaborative team to own, analyze, design, develop and configure the ServiceNow platform. Create customized solutions in accordance with best practices utilizing ServiceNow platform supported programming languages. You will deploy and configure new platform modules and features and develop integrations with other systems. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop functionality within the platform using supported languages to deliver continuous improvement to teammates, utilizing version control structure, build automation, code analysis and other quality processes that meet established guidelines and procedures. 

• Own, design and update highly secure and scalable Enterprise software platforms across multiple environments (ex. Development, Test, Production and Disaster Recovery) and in accordance with industry best practices and internal change management standards. 

• Analysis: Perform analysis of existing code bases, software systems, and integrated processes to correct, enhance or replace them. Solve Customer and Business problems through partnership and by reviewing the objectives and scope, gathering facts, analyzing data, and preparing alternatives. 

• Implement and manage integrations with external data systems, financial systems and other platforms. 

• Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to expand functional and operational capabilities when needed. 

• Resolve security vulnerabilities in accordance with Application Security guidance to reduce security risk and surface area. 

• Support and participate in software deployments, some may be after regular business hours. 

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Management Information System or Computer Science

Years of Experience

6 years of experience in Developing, implementing, configuring, automating and monitoring enterprise platform.

Certification and Technical Requirements

• Certification within the enterprise platform is preferred.
• Experience that demonstrates technical capabilities on the appropriate enterprise platform.
• Experience with development and advanced scripting within an enterprise platform.
• Experience with web technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS, REST API or similar.
• Experience with source control systems such as Azure DevOps, GIT or similar.
• Demonstrated knowledge of both cloud and on-premise enterprise platforms such as CRM, records management, service management and web hosting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of API integration and management best practices to enhance integration points and data sharing between technology solutions.
• Demonstrated Knowledge of automation tools to support the scheduling and automation of routine processes and reporting.
• Detailed working knowledge of MS Windows, and other PC software and networking products and related terminology.
