What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Associate/Representative position at Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee?

We have 16 regional claims centers across the state, allowing us to serve our customers immediately and on a local level. Two of our most frequently hired positions are Claims Associate (desk adjuster) and Claims Representative (field adjuster).
Passing of a background check and drug screen required after submitting an application.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Investigate and determine the extent of loss on a claim including car accidents, weather events, or other catastrophes
- Communicate with the appropriate parties involved in a claim such as insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, and other interested parties
- Proactively provide all parties involved with the process, status, and explanation of a claim decision
- Work with a network of vendors such as contractors, cleaning services, glass repair, auto repair shops, etc.
