BASIC FUNCTION
The Billing Associate supports the efforts of the Billing Department by accurately sorting incoming correspondence, scanning, indexing, verifying daily files sent to print vendors and responding timely to requests from members and county representatives.
REPORTS TO
Billing Manager
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Billing Associate is responsible for the accurately invoicing, collecting and maintaining member’s eligibility and personal information. In addition, the Billing Associate is responsible for the following:
· Accurately generate and review invoices on a monthly or quarterly billing cycle
· Process billing-related forms, including:
· Bank draft authorizations
· Change requests
· Cancellation forms
· Maintain and update member demographic and eligibility information
· Respond to member inquiries regarding billing issues
· Assist with monthly bank draft and quarterly reconciliation
· Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports using systems such as BI Launchpad or CMOD
· Review and approve daily default files
· Coordinate printing and mailing of invoices
· Processing special drafts and refunds
· Testing upgrades to facets
· Assist in training new hires
· Support special projects and additional tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Work Experience: 1 years’ experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
