What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Farm Bureau Financial Services?
Basic Function:
To offer administrative and sales support for the Agent/employer in the production of multi-line insurance products.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Sales of new lines of business where Sales Associate carries an active Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance license
· Cross-Sell
· Prepare sales proposals
· Pre-approach mailings
· Other production duties as assigned
Secondary Accountabilities:
· Handle policy changes
· Computer updates and review client records
· Record Keeping
· Handle phone calls
Qualifications:
· Minimum hiring age 18
· High School diploma or equivalent
· State Insurance License - Property/Casualty and Life/Health, mandatory prior to employment
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Sales ability
· Keyboard skills of 45 WPM
· Computer knowledge
· Excellent organizational skills
· Motivated, self-starter
· Reasonable and predictable attendance
