Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales representative to join our team at Farm and Home Publishers. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence within your designated territory for advertising and Commercial Print. Your contributions will be vital in connecting with customers and enhancing our distribution efforts. This territory covers 24 counties in Northwestern Illinois and the right candidate must live in this area.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory sales goals.
- Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling and networking.
- Manage existing accounts while seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional efforts with sales initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
