Overview
Farley Inc. is a family-owned construction and landscape company with over 50 years of experience serving Midcoast Maine. We're currently seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team.
This is a hands-on field position where you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and residential irrigation systems. You'll work independently and with a crew to complete new installations, seasonal maintenance, and service work while providing high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
What You'll Do
- Install commercial and residential irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems.
- Perform spring start-ups, winterizations, and seasonal maintenance.
- Program and troubleshoot Hunter controllers using the Hunter Hydrawise platform.
- Diagnose and repair valves, wiring, sprinkler heads, and other irrigation components.
- Read irrigation plans and layouts.
- Operate equipment and tools safely.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Assist with training crew members and lead a crew when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Experience installing and repairing irrigation systems.
- Experience with Hunter irrigation products and the Hunter Hydrawise platform preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read irrigation plans and layouts.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 50 pounds.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Leadership experience is a plus for candidates interested in advancing into a Foreman role.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
