Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Gynecology

Reports To: Supervising Physician
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our
growing private gynecology practice. This full-time position will involve working under the
direct supervision of a board-certified gynecologist at two office locations. The NP will
gradually build a clinical practice in alignment with her comfort and skill level, beginning
with wellness visits and straightforward problem-focused visits, with the opportunity to
advance to procedural care over time.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive well-woman exams, including routine screening and
preventive care.
- Evaluate and manage uncomplicated gynecologic concerns, such as vaginal
infections, contraception consultations, menstrual irregularities, and menopausal
symptoms.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record
system.
- Collaborate closely with the supervising physician to develop care plans and
enhance clinical skills.
- Participate in regular case reviews and training to expand procedural competencies
(e.g., IUD insertions, endometrial biopsies, etc.) as comfort and proficiency
increase.
- Educate patients on women’s health issues, treatment options, medications, and
preventive care.
- Coordinate care and follow-up for diagnostic results and specialist referrals as
needed.
- Maintain compliance with all clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory
requirements.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in FL with current RN and APRN licenses.
- Board Certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family
Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with gynecology experience preferred.
- New graduates with relevant clinical rotations or recent NP graduates are
encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative and supervised setting, with a desire for
progressive skill development.
Schedule & Locations:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday (specific hours to be discussed).
- Rotation between two to three office locations within reasonable travel distance.
