Long-Term Substitute Delivery Driver

Position Summary: Temporary position until approximately March 2, 2026. Delivers milk and dairy products from Central Kitchen or dairy vendor to the district’s facilities. May also deliver mail and supplies from the warehouse to the district’s facilities.

Essential Duties:

• Must be proficient in driving large cube van as well as backing up large cube van utilizing only the door mirrors
• Delivers milk and dairy products from the Central Kitchen and/or vendor to the district’s facilities on established schedules. Maintaining the delivery schedule is critical for this role to be successful.
• May assist in unloading delivery trucks, picking stock, storing stock, other duties that may be required
• Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Loads trucks and safely delivers warehouse goods or other items to school district facilities maintaining the delivery schedule established by the supervisor
• Maintains assigned vehicle(s) in orderly fashion, requesting mechanical attention as needed
• Performs equipment maintenance as assigned
• Participate in all mandatory training or training appropriate to the position as required by the district
• Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and students

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Equipment operation and/or driving test may be administered
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and insurability with District’s insurance carrier (No commercial driver’s license is required for this position)

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working as a delivery driver and/or in a shipping receiving position is preferred
