Job Description
The Fargo Force are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food and Beverage Intern to join our team for the upcoming season. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports hospitality and event operations, contributing to an exceptional fan experience at our home games. This is a paid position, with the opportunity to receive college credit if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of concessions, premium areas, and other food and beverage stations on gamedays
- Support inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and tracking supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to fans, ensuring a positive and efficient experience
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of all food and beverage areas
- Support special event catering and hospitality needs as required
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to ensure smooth gameday operations
- Perform various other duties as assigned to support department goals
Qualifications
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sport Management, or a related field (highly desired, but not required)
- Strong interest in the sports and hospitality industry
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Must be available to work all Fargo Force home games, which include evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
