HR Intern (Corporate)

Description

The Human Resource Intern will provide support to the Engagement and Recognition team by working on a variety of projects related to engagement, recognition and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing and executing various company events
• Support nomination processes, compile and maintain nomination data for internal and external recognition programs, including SWG Shining Star, Shield of Honor, GenNext Awards, etc.
• Conduct research on current wellness trends to support company initiatives
• Assist in the creation of engagement communications, tools, presentations, digital signage and promotion flyers for programs and offerings
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data to support the development of an executive-level impact report regarding various perks and programs such as the employee Gold Card discount program, apparel discounts, etc.
• Support the redesign and content updates of the Worksite Wellness website to enhance user experience
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Skills And Requirements

• Current college or university student, or recent graduate
• Self-starter, exhibits initiative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently on assigned projects.

• Applicants should be working towards a degree in Management, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.

Additional Details

• Up to 40 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule during normal office hours of 8-5pm.
  
  

LOCATION

• This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Johnston, Iowa.
