Position Overview:
Fareva Richmond is currently looking for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Engineering & Maintenance. The purpose of this role is to plan and schedule maintenance work in the most cost-effective manner and minimizing equipment downtime. This person will also be supporting our critical spares initiative and the storeroom.
Responsibilities Include:
- Plan and schedule work in accordance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Support outage schedule and communicate to the plant
- Maintain and review equipment performance history to identify opportunities for improved reliability or cost improvement.
- Provide job planning and scheduling services for the plant, including, but not limited to:
- Complete description of work to be performed,
- Assist in getting materials needed for job,
- Understand time required to complete the job,
- Working with the plant staff, help develop and distribute weekly maintenance schedules and coordinate work between production and maintenance.
- Maintain and update maintenance equipment records, including critical spares inventory, storeroom set-ups, CMMS files, etc.
- Process in-house repairable items in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Management of backlog
- Create and use standard work process
- Follow up on assignments until completed and escalate issues if needed
- Report on monthly maintenance metrics
- Responsible for annual cycle counts, critical spares
- Support 5S initiatives in the storeroom, maintenance shop and warehouse areas
- Support EHS initiatives across the plant
- Backup to Storeroom Coordinator
- Work within our SAP systems to schedule work orders, manage inventory and invoicing.
- Audit work orders in SAP for accuracy and verify status.
- Work within SAP to create and schedule recurring PM’s.
- Verify recurring PMs in SAP for relevance and proper frequency.
- Add/update recurring PMs in SAP as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED.
- 5 years in an industrial maintenance environment (supervisor experience preferred)
- Proven ability in planning, organizing and time management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven technical competence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Salary : $68,000 - $82,000
