Farbest Foods, Inc. is seeking a motivated, hands-on IT System Coordinator to provide day-to-day technical support for IT systems at various facilities. Some travel to these facilities is required when remote support is inadequate. This role focuses on frontline, on-site support for the office and plant-floor technologies, ensuring reliable operation of end-user devices, scanning/labeling systems, and basic network services. The position works closely with local site leadership and Corporate IT to support standardized procedures, policies, and system availability. This role reports to the IT Support Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, copiers, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Support plant-floor technology, including scanning and labeling systems; provide user training as needed.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues and coordinate escalations with Corporate IT as required.
- Work with vendors and third-party support to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Maintain accurate records for computer assets, LAN/WAN documentation, and hardware inventory.
- Order and manage IT-related supplies and replacement hardware.
- Communicate planned maintenance, outages, and system impacts to users in a timely manner.
- Follow and support Corporate IT standards, procedures, and security practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Technical Skills
- Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, printers, and basic software issues.
- Hands-on experience replacing and repairing desktop and laptop hardware components.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, connectivity, access points).
- Experience with scanning, labeling, or Symbol/Zebra technologies preferred but not required.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Ability to train users one-on-one or in small group settings.
- Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Strong customer support skills
Physical & Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends (on-call).
- Ability to travel locally to support remote facilities.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 pounds.
