Farber and Lindley, LLC is a growing law firm with a large landlord / tenant practice (landlords only), criminal defense, personal injury and general civil litigation. Our firm represents a full range of landlords from individual landlords to some of the largest landlords in the nation. We have offices in Amherst and Barre, MA.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney at Farber and Lindley LLC located in the Barre, MA or Amherst location. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research and analysis, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court and administrative proceedings. The Attorney will also participate in negotiations and mediations under the guidance of senior attorneys.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts Bar
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to civil litigation and administrative law
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise sound judgment
- Experience in a law firm or similar legal environment is preferred
