Maintain kitchen work areas to be clean and in orderly condition.
- Maintain dishes, glassware, utensils and cooking equipment to be clean and organized in the correct areas.
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents, cleaning supplies and monitor all chemical solution concentration.
- Sort and remove the trash, placing it in designated pick up areas.
- Keep floors and floor mats clean.
- Receive and stock deliveries.
- Polishing glassware and silverware.
- Maintain the storage areas clean and organize walk-in cooler.
Support kitchen operations at the direction of the Executive Chef.
Clear understanding of the English language (verbal and written).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimal work experience.
- Ability to work in hot and damp environments.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations to avoid endangering themselves or others.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Flexible in schedule and willing to meet the demands of a complex operation.
- Time management skills.
