This position is responsible for building strong client relationships, managing multiple tasks efficiently, resolving customer inquiries, and supporting the government contracts team with daily operations.
Customer Service Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, Quotes, and Sales Orders
- Provide timely and effective support via phone, email, and other channels.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
- Process orders, quotes and coordinate with the production and logistics team
- Provide accurate information about products and services.
- Maintain customer records and update account information as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve complaints and follow-up with customer resolution and corrective action.
- Support the Government Contracts manager with proposal preparation, submission of invoices, entering orders, compliance tracking, and reporting.
- Motoring government contracts bid portals.
- Maintain government lab test, shade results and component test reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contracts.
Education & Experience
- 2-year college degree
- 3-5 years customer service experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent Excel skills, PowerPoint knowledge a plus
- Shipping or logistics knowledge preferred.
- Experience with international shipping requirements a plus
- Must be detail oriented.
