Your Role: Music Therapist
As a Music Therapist at FAR, you’ll design and deliver dynamic, personalized therapy experiences that empower and create healing opportunities for clients of all ages. From one-on-one sessions to small groups, you’ll bring creativity and compassion to every interaction whether on-site, in schools, group homes, or community settings.
What You’ll Do
· Create & Innovate: Develop engaging music therapy interventions tailored to client interests and abilities.
· Document with Purpose: Complete assessments, progress notes, and reports that reflect meaningful outcomes via our EHR system.
· Build Connections: Communicate professionally with clients, families, and support teams.
· Collaborate: Contribute to interdisciplinary programs and organizational events like showcases, camps, and community outreach.
· Lead with Excellence: Maintain MT-BC certification and uphold the highest ethical standards and scope of practice.
What We’re Looking For
· Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Tech-savvy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic medical records.
· Passion for creativity, inclusion, and client-centered care.
