Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and licensed Clinical Supervisor to oversee the clinical operations of our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to supporting staff and ensuring high-quality, compliant care for individuals in recovery. This role requires licensure and supervisor approval from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists (or Board of Social Work).

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor SUD counseling staff and interns in the delivery of clinical services
• Conduct routine clinical supervision, chart audits, and performance evaluations
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide individual counseling as needed
• Oversee and support the implementation of ASAM-aligned treatment planning and documentation
• Ensure timely and compliant medical documentation, progress notes, and service coding
• Provide crisis intervention support and guide staff on handling emergency situations
• Collaborate with clinical teams, peer support staff, and case managers to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Provide ongoing training in evidence-based practices, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy techniques
• Ensure compliance with Maryland BHA standards and federal/state regulations

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Maryland license: LCSW-C, LCPC, LADC, or equivalent (required)
• Must be an approved clinical supervisor (required)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a behavioral health or SUD treatment setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong working knowledge of ASAM criteria, behavioral therapy practices, and clinical counseling methods
• Experience with crisis intervention, treatment planning, and group/individual facilitation
• Proficiency in clinical documentation, medical terminology, and billing/coding standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• BHA or CARF audit preparation experience
• Trauma-informed care certification or training
• Ability to train, coach, and retain a high-performing clinical team

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Experience:

• OMHC , IOP, Behavioral Health: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• LCSW-C, LCPC, LADC, or qualified liscense (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Baltimore, MD 21218 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
