Far Away Farms Country Corner, Glenmoore's best kept secret is hiring! We are looking for a front of the house Cashier/server.
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. This position focuses on both serving customers, taking calls for take-out orders as well as cashing customers out. The ideal candidate will be very outgoing, interactive with customers and pleasant and presentable. Someone who can handle many tasks at the same time while staying calm.

We are looking for someone who is available for morning shift Monday and Friday 530 am-1130 am and possibly one mid day shift 1045 am-430pm. One Saturday a month. Front of the house restaurant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively upsell products
- Assist customers with locating merchandise and answering their inquiries
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Must Have's
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
