As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. - Closed on Sundays.
Shifts vary from 530 am-1130 am or mid day shift 1045 am-430pm. Front of the house restaurant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively upsell products
- Assist customers with locating merchandise and answering their inquiries
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Must Have's
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
