We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer / Kubernetes Architect to lead infrastructure design, Kubernetes platform deployment, and DevSecOps toolchain integration within a secure cloud environment. This role is responsible for architecting and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions, supporting application onboarding, and ensuring consistency across multi-environment deployments.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and modern DevSecOps practices, along with experience supporting secure, mission-focused cloud environments.
\n- Lead the design, deployment, and management of Kubernetes clusters (EKS) across mission and service environments
- Deploy and maintain DevSecOps toolchains, including platforms such as GitLab, ArgoCD, Vault, and Nexus
- Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalable and secure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
- Configure and validate AWS services including Application Load Balancers (ALB), EC2, SES, and SQS
- Oversee deployment and configuration consistency across multiple environments (e.g., development, staging, production)
- Support onboarding of applications into Kubernetes environments and integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, and optimize system performance
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance with security requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support continuous delivery and platform improvements
- CompTIA Security certification (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification)
- Active Secret clearance
- Active CAC or ability to obtain immediately
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS
- Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS environments
- Experience integrating and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps toolchains
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across distributed systems
- Experience with AWS GovCloud environments (Cloud One preferred)
- Experience working with tools such as GitLab and ArgoCD

- Experience working in secure or regulated cloud environments
- Familiarity with multi-environment deployment strategies and high-availability architectures
