Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair fashion and techniques.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering expert advice on styles and products.
- Perform additional services such as facial waxing, hair tinsel, and barbering as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, including tools and equipment.
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments using ZENOTI software.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance client satisfaction and promote salon services.
- Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing knowledge and skills to foster their development.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
- Strong understanding of color theory and application techniques.
- Familiarity with various hair extension methods is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience with straight razor techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in retail sales is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
