Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily safety meetings and enforce all safety policies
- Supervise plant crews and coordinate daily production
- Perform daily plant and equipment inspections
- Work with QC to ensure mix designs and quality standards
- Coordinate with trucking and field crews for timely deliveries
- Schedule and oversee plant maintenance and repairs
- Complete accurate daily production and safety reports
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues
- Promote a positive, team-focused work environment
- Projects located statewide (Arizona)
- 4–7 days per week depending on project needs
- Frequent travel; stay near job site up to 95% of the time
- Nights, weekends, and overtime are common
- Clean driving record required (no DUI in past 4 years)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 5 years of asphalt plant or related experience preferred
- Must be 18 years old
- Pass drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of asphalt plant operations
- Ability to operate loaders, skid steers, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Ability to lead a small crew by example
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Must follow all OSHA/MSHA and company safety policies
- Willing to travel and work nights, weekends, and overtime
